Position Description:
Extract, analyze, and assess the business needs and workflows; implement softwareconfigurations. • Design and implement solutions to include custom reports. • Responsible for data transformation from a multitude of sources into Origami database. • Develop SQL scripts and queries and lead data mapping activities • Test software development methodology in an agile environment. • Provide ongoing maintenance, support and enhancements in existing systems and platforms. • Collaborate cross-functionally with business users, project managers and other engineers to achieve elegant solutions. • Provide recommendations for continuous improvement. • Work alongside other engineers on the team to elevate technology and consistently apply best practices. • Depending on size and complexity of project, may also be assigned to perform duties of project
Skills Required:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field • 3+ years’ experience supporting the software implementation life-cycle • Understanding and experience with Origami/DuckCreek/Guideware SaaS software is required. • Past experience integrating the packaged solution with third parties like Origami/DuckCreek/Guideware preferred. • Development Technology expertise with SQL, XML, C#, HTML/CSS, JSON, Python and JavaScript • Experience with database migrations, conversions, and integrations within different software systems • Knowledge of Agile development, DevSecOps practices, APIs and microservices • Understanding of test automation leveraging testing tools such as Cypress, Newman Postman, Selenium, etc • Experience with SCM tools like GitHub • Basic knowledge of Cloud Architecture, Cloud Security; Cloud platforms, Automation • Strong communication skills; must be able to work in a self-driven manner within a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment • Ability to quickly learn, apply new technologies • P&C Insurance industry experience required

Functional & Technical Skills • Knowledge in front end and backend software technologies •Experience working on cloud and digital platforms • Experience with Lean and Agile methodologies & eXtreme Programming • Experience collaborating with product managers, engineers, designers, and product owners • Excellent communication skills with the ability to adapt your communication style to the audience • Ability to work collaboratively and navigate complex decision making in a rapidly changing environment

Education Required:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or Software Engineering with a specialization in Software Development or equivalent experience
