Job Description:
This position is in WebSphere Application Server (WAS) Engineering with these responsibilities:
1) Engineering new WAS deployment solutions.
2) Assisting in the implementation of new releases.
3) Level 3 support WAS and basic WAS SME.
4) Maintaining any necessary tooling to install and maintain the WAS infrastructure.
Must-Have:
OS knowledge of Linux (SUSE or Red Hat) and Windows Server.
Programming experience in Java writing systems-level utility code
Programming experience in Java writing WAS "plug-ins" -- value-added components for use by the WAS infrastructure.
Scripting experience with Bash and wsadmin (Jython).
Nice to Have:
In-depth knowledge of Ford Engineering and Operations
Scripting experience with Windows
